Our farm mixes "old fashioned" work ethics with the new visions and ideas of the twenty first century. Our family has been successfully farming for many years. We have grown and sold market produce and products for the last six years and for five years have owned alpacas! We are experienced in pasture management which made the addition of alpaca to our farm a natural transition. Good genetics mean nothing without proper nutrition. We take pride in the fact that our farm is one hundred percent family owned and operated with everyone contributing to its success. While some of our fiber is sent out for processing, all of our finished products are made on the farm. When time allows, we try to make as much home spun yarn as possible. This business is truely a family affair! Our philosophy on alpacas is a simple one. We love to keep company with these truely majestic animals. We love when they interact with us, but we also try not to "force" our affection on them and believe this mutual respect allows for a happier, healthier, herd. This approach is really what sets us apart from rest! We understand that these animals have survived thousands of years without our help and that our assistance is merely to maximize their health and efficiency. Our animals are halter trained slowly, utilizing the TTEAM methods. Carl heads up this area as he has been instructing and training canines for the last nine years. Our farm is small, but our vision is large and diverse. Keeping our herd small allows us to capitalize on our fiber uses as well as provide you with our full committment and support well beyond your alpaca investment. Your success is our number one committment. Hidden Views Farm Alpacas can make your dream of alpaca ownership a reality!! We are proud members of AOBA, AOBA speakers, VAOBA, ARI, Alpacas In the USA, Alpacas Without Borders and VA Farm Bureau

Nokesville Farmers' Market is a community sponsored, volunteer run, local-only market. The Market is open from 8 AM until 12 PM, every Saturday from the third Saturday in May through September. We are located at the intersection of Rt 28 (Nokesville Road) and Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville, Virginia. The Nokesville Farmers' Market is a safe place with a festive atmosphere and a propensity for fun. The attraction of fresh authentic garden and farm produce, tasty, wholesome baked and canned goods, and crafty products all grown, processed or made by neighbors is almost irresistible. Each week you will find local vendors nestled under the shade trees on our grassy, picturesque marketplace. As the nexus of weekend commerce, information, social interaction and special events the Market transcends the sale of goods and has become an event itself, building a strong foundation and venue furthering the economic and cultural revitalization of Nokesville.
